I think all are useful but it should be in the right age with no ridiculous details
Everything but basic math, reading and writing. History is full of lies so scrap that. Algebra how many people use that in their daily lives? School is simply indoctrination you graduate and are like wtf what do I do now?
Hmm.. I'ma say maybe Art cuz I would think of that as more of a hobby than a school subject
PE. The jocks would take over, the non-jocks got intimidated, and the teacher would just ignore it.
Art, music, and regional dances.
Square dancing does not need to be mandatory curricula.
History. It can and should be incorporated in other subjects as part of standard curriculum. Having a whole class for it is a waste of time.
Calculus (in high school). This should be taught in college, not high school.
Most usless degree? Gender studies... Thats for someone, i dont know the f**k i talk about, but you must agree to what i say. And all man are mysgonists and sexist pigs. XD
i would say history but history shapes my understanding of the world in many way. I have never used geometry in any way and doesn't provide much greater thought or usefulness in my life.
Cursive 😂 everyone should know how to do their signature but that’s it
Music. I guess it's not really a typical subject but it isn't used. Otherwise, i think seminar or religion is the most useless
History. Some of the stuff was pretty interesting but I don't think it's gonna help me get anywhere in life
Is that why you're all communists? That explains a lot actually.
Umm what?
Sex Ed, I think that we learn it at too young an age
Music & arts - there are special artistic schools for that purpose.
Religious education - Who wants to learn that, there are religious institutions: church, mosque, synagogue etc.
No subject is most useless.
How we present it makes it all pretty useless.
Social studies. It has become indoctrination.
The religion of evolution gets preferential treatment to other religions. It is a religion because it is based on faith. We didn't witness rocks turning into fish, then monkeys, then humans. It is their belief.
Music education, definitely useless.
History was by far the most useless for me. How does learning about King Tut help us with our problems nowadays?
Spanish, I hate how I'm forced and will be punished for failing a language that people who are born expert at will obviously pass with flying colors
Probably Math class. You use Math in every other class basically, so having an entire class devoted to theoretical Mathematics is kinda pointless.
I went to a Catholic school. Religious studies was a waste of time for me
This applies more to colleges/ universities but... Gender Studies.
When at school I thought algebra. But as I have found out it helps you to work out some quite abstract things...
Shouldn't be taught:
Gender studies
Should be optional instead of mandatory:
Music
Art
Religious education
When I went to school, Swedish or philosophy.
From what I've heard, although not here in Finland, gender studies.
Sience. Don't get me wrong but some extreme details in sience like atoms and electrons and such are really useless unless you'll become a scientist. And I forget them right after exams.
They're probably all pretty useful and as much as I hate subjects like geography and physics, I guess they might come in handy at some point in my life
Cryptology... coolest fucking class I’ve ever taken, though
Higher levels of algebra. When in life have we ever had to use it..
It's a tie... gender studies or lesbian dance theory
Most useless? I think the average person would get the least out of chemistry in a normal life, making it the -most- useless, even though it still isn't useless at all.
Civics, its taught in high schools in Canada, not sure about the US.
English Literature. If I want to read books I’ll go read a damn book.
Social Values and Political Beliefs
For me the most useless was irish because i don't use it ever. Still i am happy that i learned it, because its important to me on a personal level.
To me, it was social science, especially history.
this answer can only be submitted by a kid lol
@MinaSuzy97 a kid who is really good at science and mathematics.. the subjects which *matter*.
I don't see math helping in any of your life related problems. Try again
@MinaSuzy97 pfft bwahahahaha. You can only argue with me online because math exists.
I'm talking about YOUR life problems not about technology problems (I never said math is useless)
@MinaSuzy97 study math> get good grades> get a good job> enjoy!
Oh and I love gaming that solves more than half of my life related problems.. thank you math and science.
kids nowadays are so stubborn meh
@MinaSuzy97 can't admit to lose an argument huh?
I didn't lose bcz I never said math is not useful
math is & so does history
@MinaSuzy97 you told it didn't solve my life problems but I told you how it actually does xD.
you know what kind of problems i meant
@MinaSuzy97 oh come on! She is history :/.
see! if you read enough history you wouldn't have gone through all that drama
@MinaSuzy97 I don't like history lol (get the idea).
i rather die than let you win this argument
@MinaSuzy97 then why aren't you dead yet?
The uneeded math were never gonna use in life & the unneeded science were never gonna use in life
For me personally, back in the 70's, I guess it was History. But at least there was no deliberate wickedness being thrown at us like there is nowadays.
My cultural language which is used 0.1 percent in my country
Fuk culture
Poetry. I'm pretty sure I won't be using that & make cash off of it any time soon.
Art... Its very definition insinuates it cannot be taught.
Advance math like Pythagorean theorem i should of learned what a credit card even does then a2 +b2 =c2
Social science/ economics
Read that wrong lol. But that's the most USEFUL to me
What do you wish to do professionally?
TRIGONOMETRY
UGGGGGG xx
Retarded much eh?
@Thomas_Shelby It was the Pitts, Yes. xx
What?
@Thomas_Shelby TRIGGG. xx
This is the weirdest troll I’ve seen in a long time
Psychology and sociology
I'm disagree. If you lives in a democracy, you needs to know how it works and why it works the way it does today. In addition the subject teach you how and why the society works a certain way, and how you can change it. Psychology may explain why some people have a bad mental health and behave a certain way.
Probably art and most math after 4th grade
Grammar of your native language. Most native speakers can speak it instinctively without knowing the rules of grammar.
Anything that has nothing to do with what you want to study in the future.
schools teach nothing of benefit. The answer... all of them except maths
Lunch, everyone already knows how to chew and swallow food.
Creationism lol
Sex Ed
English literature.
Maths , and I hate it.
Math is in everything, from economy to medicine
Art, if you don’t become a painter it’s not used
It helps promote creative thinking, which helps (most) kids learn the more important subjects better.
Any math beyond
PEMDAS
Greek Mythology. Who gives a shit?
Religions
English, no contest.
Why?
Painfully boring and it didn't help me with anything.
WhAt uni do you go to?
Wollongong
