i have no way of knowing for sure,
and i dont believe those iq tests, cos there's so many variables that can make u perform differntly... for example oneday u may be having concentration problems... then it will take u longer to do the test, resulting in a lower score,
and then another day u may be more awake and alert and understand the question more clearly... giving you a higher score,, u know what i mean?
there's no guarenteed accurate way of getting ur score,,, only estimations,
and im too cheap to pay for 1 of those tests anyway lol,

but im just gonna say im dumb, cos i dont wanna sound conceited or egotistical...
also i make a lot of dumb mistakes and it takes me a long time to understand things compared to most people, and some times i dont even get the thing im trying to understand at all nomatter how long i think about, so i probably have some kind of learning disability

I think iv a lot of emotional intelligence, or rather its very strong empathy I don't know. That is my perticular kind of intelligence.

I couldn't get onto the test, but I probably wouldn't have gotten a high score if the entire test is based on knowing which shape should be next.

I'm not good with shapes or numbers. I don't think that makes me slow or of under average intelligence. I'd never base my intelligence on these type of IQ tests.

I have a good paying job and I've been promoted. I I have achieved so much in my life. I consider myself successful in all aspects of my life... and that's without needing to have a high IQ for knowing what shape comes next lol

Even if it's an online test, the calibration is still done in a large population of people who take the test. So if you score in the 90 percentile, it still means you're better than 90% of the tested population. The relative result among different users is still significant. Takes less than 20 minutes to see if the people who claim to have IQ of 140+ are full of shit

It's not testing other types of intelligence... like if I can decorate a room, choose the right pair of shoes to go with an outfit, or smell the freshest vegtables, read others emotions. Yup he's wrong, it's a simple binary operation, so symmetry must be preserved, so B, C, E are eliminated first. The correct answer is D, A and F would make the operation ill defined. As I wrote above, Asker never realized that both guys he posted have at least 1 wrong answer lol

The test is to show people who claim to have 140+ IQ will do the same as everyone else, in the average range. No where in anyone's post do we claim the result = our IQ or our IQ = our intelligence.

Okay, I'm sorry but I have to be 'that' person who points out that Alfred Binet, the guy who invented the IQ test, didn't invent it as a measure of intelligence. It was intended to be used only to identify students at schools that needed extra help - basically anyone under a certain level was falling behind, but anyone above that was satisfactory. Once they reached the satisfactory level, the rest was not actually designed to compare students, nor did it fairly do so. Binet was actually very specific about his intentions for the use of the test, and was rather unhappy about how it had been misused.

That being said, I only know all of that because I'm a genius, clearly 💁‍♀️ Lmao, I'm kidding of course - about the genius statement, not the previous paragraph that is. IQ tests actually do a pretty bad job of measuring 'intelligence' because there are several kinds of intelligence and even though there are tests for each of them, it's almost impossible to prevent improvement in an area when actually taking the test. Anyway, intelligence is fricking complicated 😂

@Tessa01 I studied biochem and pre-med, and I was also in Gifted and Talented in 3-12. To get into the TAG program the first thing they do is give you an IQ test, and you have to make at least 130 to be considered as Gifted and Talented. And you’re talking about 3rd grade when I was tested and was accepted... Not everybody is stupid lol, although I agree that there are plenty of people on here who are 🤣 but yeah... it’s not like you can tell me that I’m wrong, considering on a daily basis I’m at the medical school here. No, it cannot be as easy, it's not 50/50 that you have an IQ significantly above others. When you flip an unbiased coin, there are only 2 options, there is 50% chance, that means it's as easy to be tail or head. When someone claim they are in the 0.01% of the population, there is 0.01% chance they are right. Basic probability.

Like, if you put 9 red marbles in a jar and 1 blue marble, it’s not 50/50 because there being significantly more reds affects what you draw. The entire population doesn’t affect my test scores. There is no scientific relationship. Consider your dependent and independent variables and make a science equation with it. Would the percentage of the general population determine how common or uncommon My IQ is? Yes, absolutely. That’s why I put “superior” compared to the majority. But does everyone else, or even that percentage, actually have the ability to change how well I do on that test? Nope. Speaking of logic... Clearly you dont understand how the iq scale works then its a standard deviation system 51% of people will score between 90 -110 with of course means 24.5 % of the population is on ether side of the that range but as intelligents is nearly impossible to accurately measure scientifically expesssaly on the internet iq is at best a lose guideline witch is pointless i know my actual IQ as i have took about two dozen different IQ tests for various sources as i have been is many psychological studies but its not something i brag about
