There are men who work for Child Protective Services, though he field seems to be pretty much dominated by women. Men have much to offer in that service, though we as a society have been taught that it is men who are the abusers, and women are the nurturers. There are some studies that show that this viewpoint is in error, but that's how society has been conditioned ever since at least the 50s. Maybe it's time to recognize that character and caring are determined by the mind and the heart, and not by genitals of one conformation or another.
If working for CPS is what you want, and it is for honest and upright reasons, then by all means pursue that occupation. You won't get rich doing it. It is rewarding in other ways. Then again, some cases bring heartbreak to the CPS folk. It's a hard question to answer. The important thing is to be aware of the benefits and the pitfalls of that career choice. My best wishes to you for making the right decision in your life, no matter whether you work in CPS or not.

Of course! I guess it’s just one of those professions that mostly women do. Like mechanics are mostly men but there are women that also do that.
