Any kind of math that uses symbols or letters that have no value representing them. I like order over the caos of unknowns when doing equations, and undetermined variables without a baseline too extrapolate from, is a headache I don't enjoy. Fractals are super easy for me if there is a large enough number of groupings and sets too establish a baseline and refine that estimate down too exact resolution. The larger the number of numbers, the easier too recognize the inconsistencies and pair groupings. I reject the notion of a completely random occurrence or event within a self sustaining 3 dimensional universe.
Well, since I didn't study any of it, I find pretty much all of it hard.
I think geometry, topology and logic are the easiest areas, everyone could probably understand them on their own with some trial and deduction.
But stuff like abstract algebra, algebraic geometry, number theory, I just look at it and I immediately feel sick and exhausted.
The one that has numbers in it lol
Jokes aside I don't mind math on general even if it's challenging. Hence why I went for engineering in the first place 😅
All maths is hard lol I never liked math and I've never been any good at it. I never had any good math teacher. I just can't get my head around math 😬

Maths is easy. Most of my time i am just confused by why they call this one thing something which has more logical sense to be called something else. I always have a go at my teacher on dumb rules about maths that make 0 sense but alas must do them to get them grades.
the equation of string theory
The Hamiltonian of the closed string, provided by the quantum theory, yields a formula for the mass-squared M 2 M^2 M2 of the closed string in terms of these "number operators" [1]: M 2 = 2 α ′ ( N + N ~ − 2 ) .
"New" Math.
It was originally invented (and has since been re-invented several times) to decrease the racial achievement gap between white and black students.
Not only does the same 20-25% gap continue to persist, but math proficiency scores across the board for all races are significantly lower every generation going back for the last five generations since "New Math" was invented.
It's all hard until you learn how to do it I went through three semesters of calculus and differential equations and some kind of modern algebra or something in college but I can remember when algebra was hard maybe not as hard for me as some people but
Since I tend to make simple mistakes, to me the most difficult math problems are problems that easy to understand but require a lot of work and calculation to solve. Most calculus problems are easy if you understand and know the correct method to solve.
I never really got LaPlace transforms down. Probably had less to do with the actual concepts, and more to do with the fact that I was just mentally checking out and going through the motions at that point though.
Only the extremely high level math where you no longer can see what you calculate and hench have no idea if the answer is correct. Such as signal processing and transform theory.
Algebra can go throw itself off of the highest cliff.
😂😂
Anything above adding, subtraction, multiply and division.
I good at basics. That fancy math is bullshit and useless. I never needed it
I love maths i only really have trouble with all those numbers, the rest of its fine.
The stories are my favourite part, like when Billy has some apples and needs to give some of them to Jill because reasons.
Never did trig. Last one I took was calculus, had to work for it but I got my A. Not really hard, just takes a bit of time and dedication.
What kind of calculus did you do without trigonometry? Most of the calculus problems I encountered had trigonometry involved directly or required substitutions.
@ItsTheNephilim fuck if I know. It was the one for bio majors.
Bio majors? Makes a little sense. Not too deep into mathematics there.
@ItsTheNephilim nope, never even use the calculus TBH. Little algebra but that's about it.
Oh there's a shit load of unnecessary stuff they teach out there. May I know from which country are you?
The Donald Trump math. I don't think even Hawking can figure that shit out.
As soon as letters start showing up in math I'm out 😂
😂😂
I found upper year analysis hard, which may have been compounded by skipping all the classes.
I always loved math. I actually love helping my kids with their math homework
I picked Trig. I always had more trouble with Trigonometry than Calculus.
Probably Calculus.. though geometry can be hard too 😅 but overall math is fun
All math is hard math besides the four basic operations 😂
I'm bad at math, so I take Mathnasium classes three times a week. It's one of my weakest points.
All of it beyond dealing with money. Math was and still is my weakest subject.
