What careers do you find attractive/unattractive for a partner to work in?

Of course most would just be happy if their partner had a job in general. But lets be creative and name some careers you find attractive. FOR MYSELF, I find it attractive if the guy works as a construction worker, carpenter, baseballer, graphic designer, architectural drafter, teacher of kids, editor, coach, chef, poet, or therapist. But at the same time, i worry because things like construction is dangerous and coaching/baseball means he’d travel a lot. I talked to a welder recently and although it sounded dangerous, he made it sound quite interesting. Yet i also talked to an up/coming actor and that was just like the biggest turnoff to me. I don't know i just dont want to date an actor, doctor, lawyer, masseuse, professor, salesperson, or singer.

This isn't about the money. Its just about preferences. We all have them. Im just seeing if people wanted to date someone in similar fields to themselves or not. Lets not make a simple question harder than it has to be

I take it politician might be a bit of a grey area for you? It's sort of all inclusive seeing as working at the county council revolves around management of all these things, architecture, sports, designs, city layouts, school etc. Just this day I summarized a missive to the county board regarding state- and local services suggesting on a course of action. Does that do anything for ya? ;P

I'm not trying to rain on your parade as well but I'm not certain you can *work* as a poet. I write amateur poetry and I can publish it, but make a living out of it? Doubtful.

But as for me; I like women who work with visions. Women who pursue work in organisations or even their own companies connected to feminine avenues like fashion or children's issues etc. I know one woman who does a lot of work ideally for "Help the Children" (Swedish organisation) and who often does mission trips to Africa and plays, dances and preaches to children, that just strikes a chord with my love for motherly women.

The person will always be more attractive than their careers. But if I had to choose I'll say for attractive: being a nurse, Doctor, police, paramedic, businessman, and chef. For unattractive: male stripper 🤢, garbage man, p**nstar, etc in those fields. * hint- for the people that might give me a 👎. I really don't care, as long as she makes enough money to pay her half of the bills, works no more than 50 hrs/wk, the job is ethical, and it doesn't require her to be disloyal (like acting or sex work).

But I guess if I were to give a few examples of jobs that might make her more appealing to me than others, it would be a nurse, chef, writer, something in tech, or something in the game or film industry.

And some examples of jobs that would make her less appealing would be anything in the public sector (I always say "fuck the government", but I don't want to literally fuck the government lol), farming, meat processing, or anything blue collar.

Any other job I would most likely have a completely neutral attitude toward.

Attractive: Housewife (even if it's not a career), administrative assistant, chef, yoga instructor 😏, human resources, Fitness guru, IT computer specialist, politician (even though most are scummy, there's a lot of assertive Attractive women in the field.), and Lawyers
Actresses and singers are okay, they can be attractive but they tend to be divas which I don't like.
Porn stars, store clerks, strippers, call girls, construction worker, nurses, competitive body builders (even if some of then look nice.) and bus drivers are careers that are less attractive to me..

Why wouldn't you date a guy in any of the careers you mentioned you didn't want to? Also, would you wanna date an electrician? Finally, I don't have an exact career that would be attractive but I wouldn't want someone who works in sports teams because I'm not into sports and if that person is into sports that they would probably talk about sports all the time or most of the time... Maybe someone who at least shares the same interest or knows how to do something I'm interested in. For example: I'm interest a kills in computers so while they wouldn't need to have a career in computers to be attractive, if someone knew their stuff about them and had a degree for it... Then I would be kinda cool. Plus, if they have a degree in general, that that would be attractive to me because that means they took the time to earn it...

I found a lot of girls enjoy doing thy manual occupations.
I had a girlfriend who worked in a bank
After a typical 8hr day she was so stressed and close to tears.
But she worked with me in the workshop , she just couldn't get enough of it. Her best bit was working on the forge.
After 6 months she had packed in her job and was working with me full time. We were together for about 18 months by the end that she had set up and got her own black Smith's shop, doing ornamental stuff.
