Is it better to speak up now or wait until after my probation?

At work, I always get left to do everything. I work in a nursery and I seem to be the only one who does real work. Everyone else is constantly leaving me with all the kids so they can smoke, or check their phone, or have a private chat. I get so stressed and angry over it because it’s not fair. I’m going to talk to my manager but should I do it now or wait until after my probation period? It ends in a month.

Probation is a period at work where they decide if they want to keep you… I don’t even know what a felony is. I’m English

Wait until after probation and ask your manager for a review. Then bring up issues and suggestions for improvements.

Also don’t out anyone by name. Simply ask the manager to go over the rules such as breaks and expectations on the job. Let them know you have seen others not up to those standards and then suggest how things can be improved. In reality if Everyone isn’t doing their job then it’s the manager who is to blame.

Yeah thanks I’ll definitely do that. I’m just so exhausted from doing everything myself. We have lots of special needs kids too which make it harder when you’re alone
