Yes, teachers try to pass on knowledge based accumulated over thousand of years but it all gets dismissed as fake because of a funny Facebook meme. Quite frankly we need to stop teaching people to read if we're going to sort society out
In short - school is not really school. it's a factory to train good little obedient taxpayers, who will become low wage slaves. In the end you get a piece of paper, that allows you to enroll to obtain another piece of paper (license) to allow you to work more than just minimum wages.

Yeah. School is wasting people's time for nothing. I would like to spend the unnecessary time I spent at school by learning a profession that I love very much. But it's too late now.
Well, drop out of school and let me know if you make six figures in a few years. Because having a degree, at least in engineering, fares off pretty well, at least for me.
yeah, its a big waste of time, the only valuable thing i remember from school, and the only thing that has any use, is learning how to spell and read, i think we should go to school jus for that, and then leave, and abit of maths... these are the only things i rememberr
I don’t believe it’s pointless, but I do believe it’s structured wrong as some of my fellow mates have. I would also like to say that school in a way teaches you some real life responsibilities so in a way it isn’t pointless.
A normal education is fine. I am to the point of thinking college is pointless. Too many places want the degree and the experience. Most of the time the experience they want is the time frame it took you to get the degree
my first class is art (pointless) my second is Asian history (pointless) my third we play chess (pointless) my 4th is reading (useful) 5th is math ( useful but will most likely never use) 3/5 classes will never help me in real life
No. Hell no! You get more than just an education from school. You learn social interactions, how to be a friend, how to be a best friend, how to manipulate, how to work, what it means to put your nose to the grindstone and last but not least, how to be a significant other.
Grade school, mostly yeah to be honest. The stuff they teach you is pretty surface level. For example, I completely substituted my math education by teaching myself and just testing out.
The way they teach you also encourages passing the test and then never worrying about the information again.
a lot of schools are junk, you have to be your own guide.

No. it is not pointless. you would rather learn slow and live as pavement do learn all as you go instead of accelerating to full potential? how ignorant would that be, we'd be going backward in time. uuuu uuuu aaaaa rawfkisf kaghk
It depends on what classes and who is teaching you. Of course it’s pointless if you are learning gender studies or CRT. It’s great if you are learning STEM.
1 million pointless hours wasted. School was created to be daycare until kids turn 19 thats when real life begins. College is where education and life begins. Rest was pointless except for few course that was actually worth using in life like Math, science, geography, language.
I don't even know what to think of this question. Could it be better? Yes! But never pointless. Unless you plan to be an illiterate person for life, I'd say: stay at school! Lol 😆

Same. I wasted 16 years there jus to learn how to spell and read

Obviously you would think that when you're 16. But NO

Yeah, I learned nothing productive in school after the basics

In today's world yes, you can learn anything you want online.
Go to DailyMotions, YouTube, Vemo and countless others. You can find a class on anything for free

Yes lol. I don’t learn anything of value and half the time they’re feeding propaganda
Not entirely BUT major changes are needed! Such as teaching more basic life skills like voting, laundry, banking, taxes, cooking,
