Absolutely. My job requires me to constantly be “on” (smiling and engaging) and performing tasks in front of a large number of people who need something. Even when you’re giving the most you possibly can, you’re still not done because someone else requires something next. I’m quite good at what I do and there are moments where I feel fulfilled but it is absolutely exhausting. Most of the time, I can never complete a thought of my own during the work day because I’m constantly going. My brain is completely fried by the end of the work day and I still have to manage a home and give time to family/friends/health etc.


So it’s mostly that I’m just completely drained by it.

Like twice a month the first year of this job. And then like twice a week every month i worked my first job in retail 🤣 Its so awful

Sure, but if something upsetting happens, I'd just tell my manager that someone's a pain. "Deal with him before I do", usually solves it.

I have, the last time was when I was let go from my job last year.

Damn near.. Seemed like I was doing eveyones job PLUS mine. I had to quit before I hurt someone. Got a new job.. its all fantastic now!
