Was I treated fairly here?

So I am a good employee. I stay back late , always on time and I work hard. I was sick on a Monday and I could feel myself getting worse. I asked my colleague for the number of my boss in case I felt worse the next day. On Tuesday I felt terrible so I texted my boss to let her know I was sick. I wanted to text her as early as possible on the morning I was sick so she could put provisions in place. I fell asleep and I woke up to 2 missed calls and text messages asking me to ring her ASAP. She rang me again and I answered. she never said hello but She raised her voice over the phone and said that I should of called and that it was company policy. I could barely speak I was that sick and tired so I just said ye and she asked if I was going to the doctor and to text her later on and we said goodbye. The next morning she pulled me into the office and start asking me why I didn't know that I needed to call. I said nobody told me and she start asking me how I didn't know that. She also asked me why I asked for her number the previous day. I had to explain to her that I felt myself getting worse so I asked for her number. The only reason she knew that was because when I wasn't answering the phone the colleague I asked for her number said that I was sick the day before. Do you think my boss was out of line? I can't help but feel angry at how she treated me. There is a security risk as I work in a bank but I still felt like she was out of line.
