Explain to me how you can have "self-respect" at your JOB?

Listen.. if I had "self-respect" at my job.. I wouldn't have a job. And if you DO have "self-respect" at your job.. as in saying this shit like "I play the system" or "don't listen to anyone except your boss," I think you just want to be a punk at work. We all have to make a living.. we're all slaves. You are there to be everyone's bitch. If you're a super successful person at your job and you tell me you have "self-respect" or that you "play the game," I don't fucking believe you. So how do you do your fucking job while also getting to say you have self-respect without looking like a tool?
