Girls, Should I volunteer for a womens self defense class run by my college?

All depends on how the class is run.
I actually am an instructor for women's self defense classes.
It's useful to have a guy to illustrate moves on... without doing them in a manner that hurts him.
I assure you that if I did the moves I teach on you with the intent of hurting you rather than instructing, you would end up with some serious damage to your body.
The one guy who tried to attack me while I was out running with the apparent intent of raping me ended up in the hospital !!!
Thanks! The teacher said I wouldn't get any real injuries but may get some bumps and bruises but that I'll be wearing padding. Can you still hurt a guy through padding? I assume she's talking about a helmet or something right?
Given some of what I teach, padding won't help.
At the same time, like I said, there is a difference between demonstrating moves, vs doing them full force. I'd never do any moves full force with a volunteer who is letting me demonstrate on him.
The basic direction of my class - disable your attacker and then run like hell.
If you follow what I teach, I assure you, you're likely to end up disabled !!!
So in class you each them the moves but they are only using light force when practicing them on the guy volunteering? so he doesn't feel the moves or it doesn't hurt him at all?
What does he wear to cover his face?
When I demonstrate, no padding is required.
A good example, a move I demonstrate.. if you're grabbed from behind and wearing heels, put the heel over the attacker's instep and step down hard... With enough pressure, it WILL break bones in your foot... easy to demonstrate, without ANY pressure.
Assuming the instructor is acting in a professional manner, you're pretty safe volunteering. On the other hand, if she's not... who knows... and watch out !!!
But are the women actually practicing moves on me or are they just simulating the moves and not making any contact?
I don’t wanna break any bones
Depends on the class...
I once nearly broke my sensei's finger during a women's self-defense class. But he did literally ask me to go as hard as I could. He didn't ask for it again after that, lol. 🤣
Stop lying dude.
