Preferably morning. I like to have afternoons and evenings with my family. I'm okay with swing too.
Morning shifts are awful to get through, a lot of practical work - cleaning, stocking up, paper work. I enjoy having the mornings to myself.
Evening shifts are the best - kids are actually around and I can do the job I'm hired to do, take care of them.
Night shifts - are a no thank you for me, unless they're really screwed. I didn't take my degree to sit on my ass doing nothing while kids are asleep.
I miss when I used to have early morning shifts. I used to work 4am - 2, it sucked getting up that early but I loved getting out in the afternoon.
Now my job doesn’t even open till 11 so every shift is a mid shift which is the worst fucking kind of shift
I used to work the 7pm or 11pm shift to 7am, and I LOVE overnights! Less-to-no people around, and no bosses or oversight. Right now, I work 1pm to 9pm and that's almost as good. I'm anything but a morning person.
11-7 is my dream job man. the morning is mine and so is the evening should I not have any plans I'd need to leave earlier for. but if I could work 9-3 even 6 days a week, I'd be so down.
I'll go with the Swing shift. I've worked all three at one time or another though.
Unless I'm working at a radio station, then I prefer evening or graveyard.
I would rather work during the day. I worked nights for a while and it got me all screwed up..
I prefer working early in the morning. I always hated those night shifts.
Graveyard because nobody is around, nobody rlse wants to really do it and sometimes you can get aeay with sleeping on the job lol
Definitely the evening where it's much more laid back and all the big wigs have gone home which you are less likely to be micromanaged
I'm a first shift kinda guy.
I usually end up working 12 hour nights.
Morning. The earlier I can be done the better.
6:45 - 4:15, 8:00 - 4:15, 9-6
Graveyard, I like to enjoy the day
the dungeon shift...
Night less people. I hate being around humans
Ur a weirdo

I voted graveyard shift, but it really depends on the hours as each workplace breaks their shifts up differently.
In my experience, graveyard shift is typically between 10pm-6am on an 8-hour shift or 7pm-7am on a 12-hour shift. I like my shifts between 7pm-7am. Night shifts are usually more relaxed. Also, most things in life (government, utilities, schools, grocery stores, etc) are open mostly in the day time so night shift makes it easier to run my daily errands, go back to school if I desire without scheduling conflict and helps me avoid heavy traffic.
The main reason I loved being a Corrections Officer was because of the night shift, length of shifts and how the days off rotated.
