Why do I feel guilty for taking off two days off of work?

so i work for a pool company in one of their stores we get very busy i work six days a week.

i was to have off Tuesday & Thursday this week i took of Tuesday but not Thursday

my boss is trying to make me feel guilty i feel.

Maybe because the company is short staffed and your boss knows it. Maybe your boss also hates his life and is just taking it out on you. Could be anything. Not enough information to know for sure.

Don't feel guilty. Work should not be your life. Trust me on that. Take the time and forget about work entirely.

If you're aloud to take sick or personal days off then screw him. Don't feel bad. If he ever fired you do you think he'd feel bad? I really doubt that.
