Any idea as to why younger people are getting management positions?

I've met so many younger people around my age or younger that are in management roles and it doesn't make sense. Mainly if they're younger (20-22). I thought the main issue was a lack of experience. There are tons of others that have way more experience yet they somehow hold these jobs. My ex was telling me how one of his managers was 20/21.

I just couldn't imagine someone younger than myself having enough experience.

I think younger people are more inclusive and open minded, less likely to be jealous or competitive or racist, and more willing to accept feed back and advice from others, they are also more humble and honest, because people expect less from them, so they are not afraid to be honest when they’ve made mistakes, and they adapt to change faster.

Well, you're right. They don't have the experience... LOL... Sometimes they are the only ones naive enough to think they can do it.

Getting a management job is more about charisma and conformity with a little bit of qualifications.

It depends what they're managing. Lots of people have title of manager and other doing is running a kiosk in a mall.
