If you had a job where you really dont have to do anything (such as overnight security). You have way too much time on your hands with absolutely nothing to do. Would it be legal to work another remote job over the internet while you are on duty at the job where you're doing nothing? Will the IRS audit you? would they be able to somehow find out? im pretty sure they won't find out unless they call the employer
The IRS will not care as long as they get their tribute. Your boss might take a dim view of it but if you can get away with it I don;t see a problem. I had a job where I really did not do much except sit in my office and watch Netflix and I was thinking of doing the same thing.

If you can effectively manage the jobs then sure, there’s nothing illegal about it. I wouldn’t though. Even if job A is usually super dead and job B is online, it would just figure that something requires my attention during job A that requires my attention, to which I can’t fully focus on job B. Personally it just conflicts too much.
As long as you’re paying income, state and federal taxes at both jobs, the government does not care.
It's lawful, and twice as legal as working one job.

That's not a legal at all, but you might get in trouble for it if your boss monitors the Wi-Fi or whatever.
People work 2 jobs all the time. As long as you’re paying income tax for both the government doesn’t care
Legal but arguably a bad idea
