Tomorrow I'm going to my first ever job interview it's not that serious though. An English institute wants a 3rd or 4th year student to teach a pre junior class for two hours a week and they contacted our Eng department in our uni since they collaborate and so on. But still I know that there are another two girls who took interest and I kinda want to get it. The experience will be good, I'm interested in teaching, I'll be getting payed and I'll be able to substitute a lesson of mine for doing this. Do you remember your first interview? Any tips to make a good impression are welcome.
well even if it's not that serious to you, i think you should still take it very seriously. i mean you don't get a better training than that.
i would say the best is to spend a few hours researching the company, then thinking a few hours about your personal strengths and weaknesses and what you want from an employer. you might as well write that down and keep it as a sort of personal information sheet that you can keep updating in the future, cause that will come in handy in future job interviews.
if you then still have some time left to invest, you can google up a few frequently asked job interview questions and prepare some answers. but that's the least important in my opinion.
and then lastly, i think it's best to think of it like a date. but a formal date with no intention of having romance or sex of course. just one where you meet someone new. or maybe meeting a new potential friend. that mindset heplps with building a connection that is important besides your formal qualifications for many employers.

Answer truthfully. Talk about specific things that you have done and what you have accomplished. At your age, demonstrate that you can be reliable and meet objectives. Use examples from school, sports, or volunteer work if you don't have a lot of work experience. Don't hide bad stuff (don't volunteer it though if you don't have to) just discuss what you've learned and how that makes you a more valuable employee.
Remember that an interview is two ways: you should be asking them questions so you know they are a good fit for you.

My first job interview was at a nature store where they sold sculptures and figurines in the shape of tropical birds or mammals and I failed the interview due to being ill prepared and caught off guard. My second interview was at McDonalds and I got rejected because I seemed like I did not need the money and might quit after a week of training.
well, I have been to a few interviews, all I can say is what I do, I answer all their question, when they have asked me them, I then interview them, I want to know what they can offer me,
Yes. That is very interesting one..
