What would you do if someone walked off the job and you had to stay later because they did?

I would want to call that workers ass back to the workplace and make him do his goddamn job! Ain't Noone gonna make me cover for them. I am in college and I have classes to do.

A personal argument between 2 co-workers in 1 of my job sites got so intense that it turned out to be brawl. Only 1 other employee (my Security Guard) helped me stop the fight. 1 of the 2 who were fighting just ran off. So, I picked up where he left off. Although I already had my hands full, I wanted to continue setting a good example for the rest of my crew by picking up the slack. I had to work all the way to the wee hours of the morning.

I believe, if I worked extra hours , I would be paid extra. I wouldn't be upset because, managers are not stupid. They promote the best workers; not those they can't depend on. Therefore, working hard is the best way to get promoted. That doesn't imply, that I would skip classes because attending classes is important too, and I'm certain that managers understand that.

Do the work, and then fire them. If they're they're coworker I can't fire, I'll talk to my manager and let her handle it
