When you study, you should have questions. A textbook might say something like " Atoms are made up of protons, electrons and neutrons which all have a charge" your teacher might want you to study things like different elements or how to calculate the movement of electrons as they're exposed to different types of atoms, but maybe you wonder what protons are made of or what it means for something to have a charge.
Take time to learn about the things you may not have necessarily started out intending to learn about. You'll have a better understanding and have more fun.
Even the most boring things will become exciting, once we discover a practical use for ourselves in it.
To me, it happened with mathemagics: I find it (now) exciting to predict why and when something breaks (especially when it's not made in ''my'' own company); or to save lives by properly engineering stuff.
If you don't find satisfaction in knowing something, then it's useless to study.
But the world needs street cleaners, too. Your choice.
I find work or study becomes enjoyable when you've felt accomplished and purposeful and that comes with training and skill acquisition. When I first began writing books I hated it cause I had no idea what I was doing but now I enjoy it even more than food.
Make things as decorative as possible. Type your notes in different font colors, find google images that help illustrate your notes. Memorize a paragraph and reherse it while going for a walk

We are motivated to study things we find interesting or to gain the knowledge or credentials needed to meet another goal. What are your goals?
Study things you are interested in. And don't be afraid of deep diving into specific topics and get to the root of things.
If you truly want to control your mind you should first master being able to do things despite not enjoying them, because not everything in life will be enjoyable. As for trying to make studies fun, study with a group of friends.
