I am at a 4-year school, but I take out the study abroad permit to do classes at a cheap community college in another state online.
If I see a super hard class like linear algebra, I take it at the community level to pass with an A.

The 4 year college that you are at... Will they accept the online community college classes towards your degree? I have heard of some colleges not accepting those classes because they want everyone to take all, or almost all, of their classes at their University. If they accept those classes, I'd say go for it.
Classes are usually no more difficult or easy in community colleges than at in person universities. Save money when you can at less expensive colleges. Most employers don't care where you get the degree and you usually won't get any different pay either based on where you get your degree.
It's the same work, but the professor is usually more lenient in Community College.
Like for example, the professor had gave extra credit and reopened the homework because a student said they couldn't finish in time. And for calculus, he covered a little bit of integrals and then went into more detail about Integrals in calculus 2. There is a lot of grade inflation because some students drop out because of family problems. Or they are lazy, and dont do their homework. It's like high school, but more challenging work.
It's just not super strict like the regular schools and has more room for error.
Some test he'll postpone the test because he doesn't think the class is ready for it.
If there’s an easier way to make a good grade and it doesn’t involve cheating - go for it. As they say work smarter not harder 👍🙂
