I Want to run away and pursue being a furry for my career path, but my step mom is refusing to allow it. what should I do?

Hi everyone, I have an incredible dilemma. After long consideration, I have come to the realization that I am indeed a furry. It is my dream to run away from this capatilist society and become a full-time furry. I am so torn though, because my step-mom (legal guardian) is prohibiting me from doing so. I know that I must finish high school, but if I'm being honest, the scholarly path of life just doesn't do it for me. I want to run away because my step-mom is just making things difficult, and I know that I would be much happier in a populated and accepting otherkin community. Any advice? I am so lost...

Don’t just jump up and go. If you’re an adult, the responsible thing would be to plan first. What’s list the pros and cons for making this decision and then figure out are you willing to pay the price for that decision and if you are figure out what you can do to reach that place where you are ready to do and go where you want to be. a dream without a plan isn’t good idea

If you are 18 and competent, you don't have a guardian. You are an adult and can do what you want. How do you imagine you will support yourself?
