Why would someone walk out on the job like that?

So i heard from one of my coworkers that a girl walked out on her job because she got written up for too many call offs. This is a union job so one write up isn't gonna do much harm. I believe it takes at least 3 write ups to get fired. Anyway i heard she just walked off on the job before her shift ended. What really funny is i cheeked this girls Instagram and she is applying to another retail job i wonder how long she will last there lol. What do you think?

I think if she can avoid the fourth confrontation and get with union they can sustain her work life there indefinitely. She may have been attempting to do that. She does not seem like a reliable employee but that doesn't mean much if union is involved.

Like you say, she may vanish to another job but yeah... she probably will repeat the same pattern.

She does sound like a good employee to begin with, and she also sounds lazy.
