Should I be upset that Walmart rejected my job application?

I feel like I wanna cry, but it was probably because I don't have much work experience yet

I really wanted to make a joke about this but I know you are serious. Look, you will never know what went on behind the scenes that caused them to reject you. They may have had to hire somebody;s friend or relative, they may have had some innate feeling about you. Don;t take it too hard. I was unemployed for over 6 months. I went on about a hundred interviews and finally last July I was hired.

Don;t give up, just look t this as a learning experience and next time you will be more comfortable with the process.

No, you should get motivated to submit applications elsewhere asap.

I graduated top of my class in college and got 30 months of rejects and several denials. It's just not easy sometimes.

Someone will give you a chance. It is really hard right now on businesses.

I'm talking about small businesses primarily... they were creamed by covid and the inflation has crushed them. So understand their position, all too many are going out of business. Coffee shops, grocery stores, auto parts stores seem to be doing ok.

If you wanna cry, that's fine. Sometimes things may not work out, but in the end you just gotta keep trying. Dust yourself off, and keep walking. It's like that saying from the movie Haunted Mansion.

Should you feel upset? Oh yes. But any time you get rejected in life you should feel upset as the expectations were not met. However it’s how you bounce back that really matters. If you gotta cry, then cry. But tomorrow apply for another Walmart and to 5 new places. The most successful people have learned how to bounce back after getting rejected.
