no it is a drug that gets you involved in the drug culture and leds to using other drugs. Go to your local Sherriff and ask him what is a gateway drug is.

Lots of people start with pot. They decide it doesn't cause much brain damage and somebody offers something else and they want people to think they are cool so they do it. Next thing you know they died of a fentanyl OD.

@msc545 cops see this up close all the time. Sherriffs run the local jails. Most of the people are in there for drug offenses. 90% of them started smoking pot the other 10% got addicted to pain pills after some surgery. The next thing they knew they were doing a bunch of B&Es.

Pot is not addictive and does not lead to addiction. You are correct about some pain meds which are not the same as pot at all.

FFS. If you have a good experience with one drug, another might be even better - THAT is the reason weed is sometimes called a gateway drug - which it actually is not.
