If work didn't exist, and let's pretend everything was automated or made life a lazy breeze, I wouldn't work if I didn't have to work. If society was all just lazy easy and not work work work ethic and barely any time for play or rest. No wonder I'm not a fan of, capitalism. Urgh 😐😬👍
But then I'm not a fan of a lot of systems nor a fan of a lot of ways.
To me, capitalism is all work work work and it's lucky to even get weekends or any 'rest' lol, in my opinion 😄
Let alone 'as a right' lol. Sigh...🫣😴😔
Don't everyone have that option? Be a a hole no one wants to hire and there won't be any work for you. Then you can live on welfare. If I had a secured finance like during retirement rifht now. I would work but only for myself. I wouldn't be available for any work I didn't pitch myself.
it depends on what option i have to not be able to work, but even with that i would probably get bored, that being said i also HATE working and i'm a student right now with a temp/flexible schedule so that's not even WORKING working lol

I am 68 years old and I DO have the option of not working, but my fiancee is 59, I am very healthy and active, and I enjoy what I do. Why should I retire? I can just add to my savings by drawing Social Security and still working for a few years.
It all depends & for the most part I would still work because I’ll still need health benefits & one day I will retire & will need & require all the benefits that go with it. On the other hand if I were a millionaire things might be different.
Yes, but I work as a designer, and creating designs is a passion for me. That being said, I'd be way more picky with which projects I take on and probably do a lot less work overall.
I have that option and am planning to continue working for a time. I could take but I'm paid well and I enjoy the work.
Maybe. I was once injured with a work related injury and after a month I began losing my mind and honestly missed being at work. It breaks the monotony
Pff no, I'd live a actual life, travel and stuff lol
That depends what you define as "work". I retired a couple years. ago. But I still make money. Most wouldn't call what I do now "work" though I just don't do it if I don't enjoy it. And if I stop enjoying it I'll stop.
I would work, but on my hobby, as an artist i mean
I'd die of boredom if I didn't
Nope. I would focus on my writing.
Not now... things to do like drive to Kentucky LOL
