Would you leave a job where your own employer thinks less of you and you heard her saying to your other colleague that you are not smart and clumsy?

She also makes fun of me sometimes. It can be light however it still affect my self esteem and when I am willing to do any new task, she would secretly suggest my superior to not choose me because of fear that i would not perform well. Also when I want to speak to the customer, she wouldn't trust me of doing that alone and always ask other colleague to company me in case i say something wrong *she doesn't do this to other colleague.

I guess it has something to do with my personality, because im still young. But i still think this is toxic.

I’ve been working in this company for 4 years. They always reach me for help to proofread, and I always receive good feedbacks from customer regarding my services. My employer is aware of this.

At the same time she keeps increasing my salary! And i do admit that she's giving me good package but at the same time treat me like a clown. My self respect is at the bottom of my shoes, but I couldnt get the same package of salary if i leave this job which is the only reason holding me back.

*my salary is above the average market and a bit difficult to demand

Honestly instantly bosses get such a head on them. The worst ones are smart and stay just inside the rules.

It ruins you being slowly chipped away at. They destroy the business and ruin it in the long run

Probably is the higher ups always know and don't care! Letting it happens and wonder why the division is doing poorly.

My last boss ruined the division every one who worked there left but those she could shove around. We ran that place despite her and I'm glad I left the company closed that area!

Verbally saying something on the phone or to you record it and keep those emails.
Then send them into hr and go on when your mad!

I’ve experienced a manager/boss kinda like that. Luckily it was at a job where they didn’t fire anyone unless they didn’t show up. But literally all the customers loved me and gave the managers great comments about me. Most coworkers liked me but a couple of the managers didn’t like me and made it known they didn’t. Mind you I worked there for 4 years and only time I missed a day was when I was after a surgery and I missed 1 day. But yeah when they say stuff about you all you need to do is have confidence in yourself and know you’re doing everything you’re supposed to do and you’re doing your best. Even at this job this manager doesn’t like me I think it’s because I make work fun by joking around when there’s nothing to do. But I’ve built confidence in me but Ik when I’m wrong. But some people won’t like you and some will I learned that how work is but I wouldn’t like that the manager/boss is commenting like that
