Not necessarily. However much you make rarely benefits the man if he's a high earner. If you're both career oriented and work middling jobs then that MAY make the difference in quality of living, but past a certain point I just don't care what you make.

Maybe, but not necessarily. A career oriented woman is essentially useless to a family oriented man. If he wants a family, he's likely to prefer a like minded woman.
