Should I tell the district manager whats going on?

found out my old boss was giving me bad reference to jobs i applied to when they would call her.

i only found at after i spent a $104 online to a place that checks reference. if i knew she would do this i would have never put her down as a reference.

as talking to someone i know who is also no longer working for the company & he said i should tell the district manager whats going on not sure if i should.

keep in mind for the last 3 days or so i'm been emailing the ceo & someone who workers under him.

Well, your former boss does have the legal right to say she wouldn't rehire you. What she can't do though is get into specifics as to why.

Just don't use her as a reference anymore. She's allowed to to say that she wouldn't rehire you.

she did not say that she said the company would not rehire me that is not true.

as the HR woman she i was able to be rehired by the comapny
