Am I going to get laid off?

My company’s profits are down. Everyone has been asked to type out all their work duties as if we were going to train someone. Layoffs haven’t been mentioned. I got a raise and an excellent performance review. In my department there are two people with less experience than me.

Hey- my company isn’t doing well financially because it doesn’t have enough workforce to do all the work needed to make a profit.

When something similar was starting to happen in my job I sought God, prayed about it and then used scripture to remind God of His promises to us. I recorded my own prayers and played them 24/7 at work (not out loud or obviously) and after 2 weeks work picked up, even on the traditionally slow days. Some of the things they planned to do like get rid of some major equipment had to be postponed due to the work being too busy to justify it. My prayers focused on God's will which I assumed to be good. Sometimes He might decide that good = being laid off but in this case He didn't decide that because work is busy. So many of us only focus on the seen, the physical plane of existence and our own shoulders that we forget the spiritual realm and the power of prayer and speaking out words... and Gods shoulders. I don't know your belief though, but feel it's important to tell you my experience.

Some believe that we live within the cursed realm of lack and toil due to Adam and Eve, but that this curse has a way of being 'bypassed' through bringing things that reside in the cursed physical realm into the Kingdom realm of abundance which was demonstrated in Matthew 14:13-21 where Jesus fed 5000 with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. Some believe that those 2 fish were in the 'cursed' realm so could only feed what 2 fish could feed, but when taken into the 'kingdom' realm only then could they feed thousands. I know someone that did something similar for their gas and electricity bill. They took it into the 'Kingdom' realm by not consenting or believing in the price rises and they ended up paying about 80% less than others who had bought into the propaganda. They even had credit that came from the previous home owner. The energy company were completely confused and said they have never known anyone to be on such a tariff...

I hate to tell you but you will be the one to go since you probably make more money than the other people. When managers are instructed to lay people off they do it according to how much they save the company.

I once worked for a place that laid off the best people because the rationale was tht somebody else would hire them. They kept all the slackers and misfits.

Actually everyone got a raise and I make a smaller amount than others on my team.
