Do you think teachers can tell when their students have a crush?

In grade school, I was lucky enough to be seated next to almost all of my crushes at one point or another. Looking back on it, I'm not sure if my teachers could tell that I had a crush on these boys or if it was just a random decision on their part. 😂

Funny u say that I use to always stare tf outta this chick in highschool in our biomed class and she would always stare at me too lol she was cool and then eventually she sat right across from me. cause the teacher put her there lol Man I tried to get at her too and some other girl was like u guys should sit closer to eachother & the. Bella I have no idea if my teacher's back then could tell if I had a crush on a girl classmate. But it wouldn't surprise me if they did. Teachers and students spend so much time together that I would guess teachers notice a lot of things about their students' when it comes to that sort of thing.
I also had crushes on some of my teachers.

Definitely.. I’ve heard so many teachers online talking about it, lol. And kids/teens are so obvious about their crushes. It would be hard not to see the signs as an adult.

Unless there was some obvious "crushing" on the scene, Teachers are oblivious to issues like that since they're far more concerned about giving students quality education.

Yes, I believe they can tell, Mrs. Flannigan was my English teacher and this girl named Beth was looking at me and throwing me kisses and wow would I blush and Beth laughed because I was turning red in the face, finally Mrs, Flannigan moved me to another seat well that ruined my crush on Beth and that year I was in 10th grade of High School.

I definitely think they can tell, but I don't know if that's the motivation behind the seating assignments. Maybe the teacher is happy to put you near a boy who doesn't annoy you.

Something else i wanna say is i think there's difference between the generations of teachers. i think teachers of our era 90s and 2000s and earlier were less in tune with their students whereas now i think they pay much closer attention.

@DizzyDesii Aw man, that's rough! Teachers shouldn't embarrass kids like that. I would've been so red in the face if they called me out in front of everyone for having a crush. That's just not cool of them to make a big scene about it. I get they probably thought it was funny or cute or whatever, but that stuff sticks with you, you know? Always better to keep that kinda thing private. At least now you can look back and laugh about how obvious you were. Still, they shouldn't have put you on the spot like that in class. I'm sure all the other kids gave you hell for it too after. Teachers gotta have more tact sometimes, ya know? Don't feel too bad though, we've all been there getting all embarrassed over someone we like. Just part of growing up I guess, even if the teachers made it way worse!
