Yes. And when I was young people didn't make a big deal out of it, even if they actually got together. At most it might raise a few eyebrows. I know of a teacher who married one of his students just after she graduated. Obviously they were dating while she was still his student. Nobody raised a fuss about it. By the way, that was about 47 years ago and they are still married.
