Anything comic related if that’s part of your field, I’d like to hear your story. How did you achieve greatness? Did you allow yourself to feel obligated to doing a bunch of extra random bullshit that basically just wasted your time, or did you get straight to the point and got the ball rolling up front?

I wish! That was my dream as a child to become a comic book illustrator. I lacked the skill, patience, and passion for it (both in writing and drawing).
I enjoy scribbling out little ideas but I'm extremely heavy-handed and impatient about it, like this (I was also extremely drunk when I scribbled this one):
That already took me around 10 minutes to scribble out and it's a complete mess. I have no idea how anyone can finish panels and panels in any tolerable amount of time.
I do enjoy doodling all the time like this (was supposed to use that notepad for work but I ended up doodling) but I'm very scribbly and messy and have difficulty drawing figures in perspective without a ref so they mostly end up in front or side views like this.
Instead became a game developer as kind of a compromise where I could combine my artwork (pixel art back then which didn't take me very long) and music into a single medium. But comic book illustrator was my biggest dream.
That’s a cool alternative. Passion really is all it takes, however I believe you’ve dodged a nuke there as I am producing the world’s greatest Conga series and strive to make entertainment great again.
I will look forward to it!
