How are you supposed to work on SSDI? Disability benefits. I’m on it mainly for depression and I don’t even earn enough to buy stuff i want. I need a way to earn more money! But I don't know what to do cuz i can’t get a normal job. I couldn’t pass high school and no G. E. D is not an option cuz that’s just as hard.

Yeah you can still work for quite a while and get Social Security disability but later on you can’t work a 40 hour work week you get a certain amount of hours per month you have to work under the limit talk to your Social Security disability near you in person. So once you get approved, they will pay you 12 months backpay. If you use a company they’ll take 30% if you do it by yourself you might get declined most people do the first time but keep on sooner or later you will win and you’ll get 100% of the backpay but 100% of the future pay as well

You need to talk to somebody a social worker plus do a lot of research on your own Google it you need to find somebody to help you out with that stuff. It’s hard for one man alone to do it and they like people that they don’t know what’s going on because they like to unapproved them, remember strength in numbers don’t be afraid to ask for help you’re gonna need it

You're not, it's just the legal requirement because they can't just institutionalize or kill you

That's why I could take them but I run my own business and will until I can't do it anymore

Try reaching out to vocational rehabilitation for your area. It’s usually a no-cost way to have someone find a job that suits your skill level and interest when you’re disabled. Just keep in mind you can’t have a ton of money, as of right now the US will remove benefits if you have $2000.01 stored away in a bank in your name.

There is talk of legislation going to change the limit to 10k but I’m not sure about that. Regardless, you can get a job if you need the extra money, it just needs to be part-time

I'm on SSDI And you can work on a trial basis but the maximum salaries are limited. You could work off the books.
