Working to much Jobs distract people from values, culture and family/friends. Why do people put emphasis on job above everything else?

Job r important but not when there jading people and ruining there values it is becoming toxic environmwnr i ike non government job better. Jobs become degraded. Jobs r supposed to benefit society not undermine there values.

Yes. The problem is our families, friends, values, culture, and enjoyment in life mean nothing to the rich. So they will and do take as much as they can get away with. The narrative of work ethic pushed by the media owned by the rich is how they trick everyone into giving it up.

Jobs are paid shitty af. So you need to work more and more in order to get the money to survive.

I know u need to work more to survive, my point was more about not putting toxic work elements above the other things that matter. people think there job is everything and neglect there own values and family and friends because life becomes burdened and stressful. Work culture can become nihilistic and jaded.

Yeah I know my point is we need to find a creative way to protect our values, the things that matter etc against this kind of thing. I'm not advocating being a rebellious uncompliant worker, but when push comes to shove, u can't put job over everything. There's a balance. The positive work force values don't work if the culture doesn't.
