I don't let myself to work until burnout... I jump between projects with totally opposite requirements, learn new stuff, do side projects...

and I rest, I do a lot of stuff not related to computers or programming... and I do lazy days, when I have my favorite Earl Grey brewed in a pot, some butter cookies and all my books around me... pure bliss

don't let the burnout to reach you... take a good care of yourself

Yes. You don't ditch a best friend just because she's a dork to be around for a few days. You don't cut off your hair just because it's in an awkward in-between stage for a few months. You don't go on a hunger strike just because you got a bad Costco dog.

I can like my job even on the tough days by just remembering what it was like to be unemployed and broke. At least now I'm employed and just almost broke LOL.

Yes, though I have yet to feel or experience burnout with my current job. I loved my last job, but I did feel incredibly burned out, especially towards the end.

I got pretty burnt out in the military and was very happy to leave.

I don't like my current job but it's definitely too early to say I'm burnt out

Well I just started working for a new job, and I actually own part of the business. It is my dream job, and I worked very hard to get there, so I may get tired at times, but it still energizes me as well, because I know there's no better job that fits me. This is the one.

I've never suffered from burnout, so can't relate. Then again I love working in a stressful and a constant workload environment, so I guess my tolerance is somewhat higher than others. Nevertheless, I love my job though at times it can get bored.

I like my job, but the hours can be a killer. In the next 2 weeks, I only get one day off.

It’s heavy, but I do love my job because it feels good that I’m making somewhat of an impact and my co-workers keep me laughing during stressful / good times.

I like my job a lot overall. I do feel burned out in it. I think I just need a long vacation from it to reset and to learn another task

Yeah. Sometimes it's just one person or one moment causing the burnout and you just need a reboot/step back before continuing on your path.

I LOVED my job until health problems forced early retirement. I still miss it terribly. 😭😭😭

Unfortunately I have to burn out in my job.

I have to cover for two receptionists who get sick a lot. Sometimes they're sick up to a few days, a week or more.

    Really over it.

Feel like quitting but I need the $.

No. I've burned out of three separate jobs. Can't stand that shit. Need to figure out something else.
