I worked at a call center for the better part of a year. It was the same job that told me that I am not fit for round the clock customer service. It was a never ending stream of incoming calls with only a minimum break of 30 seconds after each call disconnect. It was for an insurance company and November was enrollment time. I was initially supposed to be just an extra hire to help with the massive call volume that would happen during that time, they liked my performance enough to keep me around but I was overworked and burning out fast. It doesn’t matter how much they offer to pay, I will never work in a call center ever again.
The last job I've been at. It was nothing but full of gossipers and management was poor.
Okay, what was it?
