I am a remote software dev. My boss has scolded me for slouching on my couch when on videocalls with my immediate team. He wants me to sit at a desk. He doesn't like when I vape on calls either.

I, however, corrected those things and don't do them anymore.

I don't think he's necessarily uptight, but he's definitely not chill. I would scold one of my team members for something like that (on an internal call) but I'd judge them for it. And not do it myself. I just turn my cam off when I vape by the way.
