Why does it feel like I'm bumping heads with everyonein my new departament at work?

I've been an employee for over 5 years at this agency. I've had excellent past reviews from previous managers and not once have I had any type of conflict with any coworkers. However, in this new departament I started at in February it seems like I'm bumping heads with everyone... a coworker argued with my in public, my current manager is constantly harassing me over dumb things that she doesn't even verify for accuracy prior to reaching our to me. It's all bad.

So… depending on who you’ve just replaced there, they won’t like you bc you’re not the other person.


Alternatively, if they’ve know and worked with eo a while, there’s minimal explaining to do; meanwhile, as the new kid they have to talk to you and explain things they just KNOW… which can be aggravating to folks who need to work very quickly and efficiently.


Just take a deep breath and lean into the small silver linings you can manage to find daily… if it’s TRULY “all bad” then look for a new gig while you’re working at this place.
