I don't want to go into work tomorrow but can't think of a credible reason / excuse?

i have other plans and boss was in a seriously off mood when i was in last week , it summer here and so not in the mood for that rate now.

but can't think of a good excuse

Even if you’re someone who calls out a lot (not saying you are), it’s still your right to take the sick time you have available. Of course your boss won’t be happy you’re calling out, finding coverage or managing the lack-of can suck but it isn’t your problem. You also don’t need some elaborate excuse because that’s none of your bosses business.

Maybe they just don't feel like paying you one week and can't think of a good excuse
