You know how people plan to do something but then suddenly don’t want to because someone told them to? No one likes to have their freedom of choice infringed upon, so it’s a natural reaction that we reject any idea that we are being controlled even if it means just doing the same things we would have done anyway.
I see that as a positive after all I do support communism. In the ideal world we would all be forced into jobs assigned by government once school ends none of this job search rubbish that don't work. Of course in a Ideal world as well though there would be systems to get into a job you wanted after showing enough effort in the assigned job.
The reason why I hope to never work is to show how broken the system is. That I can live without much money but without working a day in my life because some capitalists thought that's how the world should be in.
It's always amusing how even the ones hurt by that ideal defend it. Hey if feeling freedom also means you need to pay those on benefits to not work that's fine by me and I am gonna try to use this system for my benefit not others as that's how it's fundamentally designed.
I think it goes without saying that when you have to do something involuntarily it's not going to have the same characteristics as it does when you do it voluntarily. In your case, it sounds like you are being held responsible for the consequences of your actions so maybe you can view it as paying your bill and that might make it more palatable.
