They did offer me stay for free but I wanted to pay them $400. I was unemployed at the time and working hard to the point of them noticing and rewarding me with words & pizza. Although, when I am distant (focused on my goals) and not gaming with the or being their verbal punch dummy then they bring up rent or treat me differently. I’ve noticed them doing so passive aggressively. They even ignore me and so I stay in my room with my dog. I don’t want to tell them I am leaving because I didn’t want them to do something passive especially when I am gone. Although, the new job I am at the husband (he does payroll) referred me. If I pack and leave without telling them and working there still would it look bad or fire me?

It's pretty immature to think you wouldn't tell them -- and what, leave them in the lurch? Based on your description, you pretty much lag in that respect anyway, otherwise they wouldn't be begging you for the rent...
