Would you take a job at cvs?

I have a interview at cvs at 2pm today not sure if i'm going.

right now i'm working at walmart i was working 2pm to 11pm.
But once i changed my hours to 2pm to 9pm they cut my. hours

does anyone work at cvs or know of anyone who does?
i'm curious what its like.

Only if I absolutely had to. I'm vehemently opposed to them in several ways. First off, one of their clerks used aggressive carding tactics against me a while back, even though I was obviously at least forty, appearance wise. You've got a situation in which, instead of the law being used for its intended purpose, which is to stop kids from smoking (I've long since quit), someone says, 'I'm going to stop you from getting what you came in here for, because I can'. More obsession with the behavior of others, instead of ourselves. They also enthusiastically pushed AbominationCare, although I would have expected them to, since thayre a pharmacy. Still, they suck big time, in my opinion.

i used to work for family dollar & dollar general years ago only reason i know.

No, that's not true at all. I work at a gas station myself, and as long as I type in an actual DOB, rather than just hitting the 'over 40' button, there's never a problem, and if someone says, 'Hey, you didn't card that guy', all I have to do is say, 'Oh, he's been in here before'

It is true. You are simply saying that you are lying by typing in some DOB, and lying if someone catches you at it. You lying does not make what @unsureinlife said not true.

That’s boring being a cashier and everybody’s always got some return item that you got a deal with some kind of complication. Where younhave to run and get the manager for their approval no thanks and if the line gets long, it’s always a cashiers fault

What would you be doing training cashiers? I just don’t find that kind of work it’s not appealing it’s boring. It’s a never ending job and the time drops real slow and it seems like you’re there all day long. they don’t pay that much

And you have to stand on your fee for what like eight hours in a row are you used to that? I like to take breaks and sit down not on my feet all day

i work at walmart right now & i'm on my feet 8 hours a day.

only job where i could sit was my last job i had for years i left march of last year.

It depends on how badly I needed the money, but I imagine a CVS job isn’t too bad. You probably need to spend time stocking, running the register, basic customer service stuff. The only area I imagine no one would be trained on is the pharmacy area as that usually requires some education beforehand I think.

My friend has worked at Walmart for years and they took away their holiday pay.!

That would be about a 75% pay cut for me, so no way.
But if retail is your thing I’m sure it’s fine, working for any of those chain stores is pretty much the same
