Seriously, society needs to stop looking down upon people who've worked at McDonald's or some other comely occupation. Teenagers work jobs like that to get their feet wet, and it doesn't require much experience. Other people might not be all that brainy or have as many opportunities in life, so they are relegated professions like that. This isn't meant to be a dig from me, but an analysis of socioeconomic factors in a capitalistic system that will likely not care for people who get laid off due to corporate greed.
Lying about military service on the other hand is a big no-no, and I'm not okay with it.
She did not say that she didn;t work at McDonalds because it was somehow shameful. She said she worked at McDonalds because she wants to portray herself as a poor kid having the work a fast food job to pay tuition The truth is her parents both were professionals who made good money.
I have to say the military.

They might actually be equal. On one hand you're dishonoring people who actually served and either died or could have died taking up their position.
On the other hand you're lying about something as humble as working at a fast food chain. Now maybe it's not as disrespectful as an individual thing but you're insulting basically everyone in the country that has ever worked a service job.
Lying about military service, although I would guess there is some truth twisting over this.
what age did she work for McDonald’s?
Most organisation do not keep records over say 10 years, I imagine those were paper records, who would move paper records for a college kid to electronic after they left.
So he simply misspoke, he served in the National Guard for 25 years and his record of American service to this great nation is a high honor though it is worth mentioning he never carried a weapon or was in any kind of combat in that military service.
Now, with McDonalds it wasn’t on her resume after college and tbh who would put a fast food job on their resume for a high job? You put your education, your experience, and your du diligence & your understanding of the laws and US Constitution from what you learned in college. You aren’t going to be bragging about getting a McFlurry order correct or flipping burgers or the time you scrubbed the toilets & fixed the Urinals.
Her record of being a Prosecutor, turned Attorney General, turned Senator, turned Vice Presidential pick, turned Madam Vice President, selected as Madam Presidential Nominee, soon to be Madam President of The United States of America!
They have the policy, the history, and the muscle that Trump could never have because he failed in every aspect of 2017-2021 under his administration. He had a bigger margin of Majority in both the House & Senate compared to Biden/Harris in 2021 YET couldn’t even repeal Obamacare and replace it with his “better plan” which he never released. Now Trump flip flopped supporting child tax credit for all families & free IVF & flip flopped to support expanding Obamacare…. Flip flopped to unban TikTok after Republicans in Congress & Senate barked at the CEO for spying on American users. Complete flaccid incompetent billionaire whose face is as old as his act is getting. I’m a former Trump supporter for a number of reasons, I believe Harris & Walz will have the American people’s backs more than the foolish GOP leaders.
It doesn't matter A lie is a lie... No matter what it's about..
And if a person has to lie that means they don't like themselves and they're trying to become somebody else that they're not..
And if they lie one time they're going to lie a hundred times
I think he has lied he is cheated he has he's a thief He's a hypocrite
And with his mouth I just don't want him to represent .
If you look at Trump's life and understand how he got everything that he got
It wasn't him he lost everything that he had and then he hired the guy by the name of George that worked for his dad Trump's dad and made Trump's dad lots of money well he made Donald Trump a lot of money too and when Trump made that money then he fired George but then Trump lost it again hired George back George worked for him until Trump became president but Trump has ripped people off left and right he has lied to everybody he has cheated everybody he's a loud mouth. Fake bully that probably couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag
I see Trump with a big mouth threatening people and it's usually the one with the biggest mouth the loudest mouth is the scariest one in the room. That's the last person in the world that I would want to represent me especially if he knows that he has an army behind him cuz Trump does not think before he speaks. There's one thing about Trump that I feel sorry about sorry for him is he had an opportunity of a lifetime to become the greatest president ever in the United States ever and he messed it up and to this day he keeps messing up he has gotten better but that's just a donkey show it's not real
Lying about military service. Because with military service you’re respected for serving but if you lie about it you’re receiving respect that isn’t earned.
The way you can tell if Harris or Walz is lying is you can see their mouths moving.
Seriously why do you think the mass media is hiding Harris from tough questions and/or unscripted interviews? Because she has no plan and she keeps contradicting herself, flip flopping and/or outright lying.
Working at McDonalds does not bestow valor which can be stolen with a lie. But any presidential candidate lying abou their history is a warning sign that all should heed.
That's a no brainer for conservatives. But if not you may favor McDonald's to avert that light.
Military.
Do you mean that you were or weren't in the military?
A lie is a lie anyway you look at it and honesty is always the right way to go.
I think posting things that are unsourced claims are lies until proven otherwise.
DrPepper 1. He simply misspoke and he did serve under the National Guard for 25 years though never saw combat / carried a weapon 2. Harris simply didn’t put McDonalds on her resume because it wasn’t relevant to law & order being a Prosecutor lol.
@MisterWack He lied about his rank. To be a Sergeant Major you have to serve overseas. It does not seem like a big deal but somebody that served in the military understands the difference.
They're both pretty bad. The worst is that a person would feel a need to lie about it.
Nice caveat. 🙊🙉🙈
Tim Walz didn’t lie about his military service
Exactly, he simply misspoke. I’m proud of his contributions to the USA under ThenNational Guard & Harris simply didn’t put McDonalds in her resume since it would lean towards her understanding of Law, where she practiced/got educated on US Law & understanding of Constitution of the US. No one will talk about flipping burgers / mopping the floors when it is about being a Prosecutor and advancing her career Jeez.
@MisterWack nobody puts McDonald’s on their resume when you’re applying for a professional job. That’s a kid job.
Im not an American, so im not a voter. But her talking that she is black... 😂😂😂 You are black as Mahatma Gandhi
Lying about military service is so much worse.
Military service. Albeit she's engaged in stolen value meals.
Depends on which one you think is more stressful...
Walz never lied about his service.
Exactly, he was National Guard and made that clear.
@OtterMan68 He lied about his rank. The rank of Sergeant Major suggests he led a group into battle. This is not a big deal to most people but those that have served in combat understand the difference.
citation?
Lying about Military Service, period!
We talking bone spurs here?
military
did a candidate lie?
no one did who's running for pres or VP
@OtterMan68 cool
Stolen valor is infinitely worse.
