What are some of things you think about while you are working?

Depends on the day, the group of children - their dynamics and energy, depends on which co workers I'm working with and what we've planned (&how the planned activities go).

Usually focus on the kids, their dynamics - how to prevent conflict, I look at the children - try to decipher their energy levels to figure out how far I can "push" them without it leading up to a conflict, or when to push them despite of it resulting in one. My thoughts revolve around how I can create a good day for all of them and support their development.

I listen to music, I don’t think that much while working

I work four nights a week from 11:00 p. m. to 8:00 a. m., and three mornings a week at another job. Two of those mornings are after I have worked from 11:00 p. m. to 7:00 a. m., so mainly what I think about at work is wanting to go to sleep. I have nightmares about needing to go to sleep sometimes.

Working after basically not getting a good night's rest is not the healthiest thing. It could even be dangerous, depending on your daytime job.

@Tarifa yeah you're right. I usually sleep all day before doing that and only work 4 hours if I just worked 8 before that at the other job

I may spend long hours staring at a computer screen. So I take a break every now and then. Listening to some music relaxes me, reading a book even more. I always have a couple of them lying around that I need to finish.
