I’ve always wanted to run machinery like an excavator 🚜 or crane! 🏗️
Life got busy and blah blah
I’m given an opportunity for some professional and formal training for nearly any job that’s in demand in our economy.
Of course I’m excited to the option of machines and big trucks!
But being home is so critical for me as a single parent, the kid is an adult in a couple of years but I still like to be around them and they deserve me around. So!!! What is a professional job that you can do from your own home?
I’m brainstorming incase there is an option to be home that I simply didn’t realize! *FYI there are lots of job local jobs for semi driver in my area*
Please provide an elaborated answer instead of saying stuff like “government job”.

AskWorking from home offers flexibility, especially as a single parent. Consider roles like remote customer service, writing or content creation, data analysis, or virtual assistance, which allow you to be available for your child. The tech industry also presents opportunities in software development, project management, and digital marketing that can be done remotely. While semi-truck driving is appealing, the flexibility of staying home can be more beneficial for family time. Balancing personal and professional responsibilities is key, so choose roles that align with both your skills and the need to be present for your family.
