My kids are grown and on their own now, but when they were younger, most of the things I did, I did for the family, which included my kids. Of course, I'm a member of the family too, so part of what I did was for me. My wife and kids came first though... always.

So, the answer to the question is... Yes, a bit of both.

Well , I'm now a professional investor , I was always interested in investments , I began some time ago , the business has a property base , that produces passive income , the moment I got my first dividend ( cheque ) all those years ago , I was in love with passive income.

Australian housing is incredibly expensive , and the base of the whole thing is a couple of houses that are leased long term. I do 3 x tax returns in Australia every year.

Yeah. I have a full time job and independent contract a bit on the side. I have a SIMPLE IRA and Roth IRA that are both well funded as well as a 529 account for my son's future education expenses.

When I have a job that requires physical labour, I bust ass. I can't stand people that go to a job and go really slow AND THEN WHINE AND COMPLAIN about how boring the job is! DO IT FASTER!! Try to make a game out of it and you won't GET bored, ASSHOLE!! On top of that, the job gets done a LOT fast and you won't have to spend so much time doing it!! DUUUUH!! DON'T BE SO FUCKING LAZY!!
