I am a medical student, and the truth is that teachers are obsolete nowadays, going to classes is completely useless, to pass the exams it is better to read the bibliography. There are classmates who do not go to classes, they only go to the exams.

Before the purpose of college became political indoctrination rather than education, it's purpose wasn't to teach you facts, it was to teach you how to get on in life. Half the reason for college is the social side of being with other people and having to live with them and interact with them every day, so when you go out into the work world you'll be able to handle yourself competently.

No, I was surprised and how MUCH college actually taught me! It was way better and more in depth and challenging than I expected. Maybe your college is just bad.

It depends on what you major in. I have degrees in both Computer Science and Accounting. I still use a lot of the stuff i learned.
