Why do my friends say I’m making excuses to not hangout? I told them I have finals to study for next weekend and they said well bring your study notes so you can take a break and join the fun. I told them I can’t make it. Plus I don’t want to do homework and hang with my friends.
My friends said, “Oh come on! Just come and have fun! Just bring your notes! Don’t miss out on the fun. Just come for an hour in a half and go back to it.” I asked them to reschedule but they said no because most of them are free.
The thing is I work 40 hours a week and I take a class. It’s a lot. I NEED time.
It’s a house party. They’ll be other Josie parties!
My guy friend said, “Just come! Then get back into it. You need a break. The party is only for a couple hours. You have all weekend to study and your finals isn’t until Wednesday! You always make excuses to not hang out. There’s more to life than just school and work. HAVE FUN. Quit making excuses and just come.”
