Absolutely. But even just living requires work. I talk about living campervan life and off grid living all the time. But those lifestyles require a LOT of work. I'm very aware of it.

If it's campervan life, I'd have to maintain the vehicle, go out and refill propane tanks and water tanks, fix the electrical if a shortcircuit happens, fix the plumbing if there's a leak, get groceries more often because I wouldn't have as much space as an actual place, etc.

Same as off grid living... farming my own food, caring for the animals, doing all the maintenance on the house like in the campervan scenario, making sure firewood is chopped, etc.

But it's that simple life I want. I just want to travel, get away from the city, spend as much time as I can with loved ones, go hiking, camping, swimming, and kayaking often and just live a truly active and simple life connected with nature.

It still requires work, but I wouldn't see it as work too much. I'd be genuinely content. I know I will because I'm pretty good at

I've thought about that. I don't think so. I'd go crazy without something to occupy my mind. Self indulgence sounds good on paper. But I think it's empty and boring long term. A life without challenges is like a prison for me.

For evidence, look at all of the 2nd generation wealth and trust fund babies. Look at how utterly fucked up so many of them are. Zero sense of values. Addiction. Detachment from reality. A life with no accomplishments, no wins, and no losses. Just endless pointless consumption with no effort. No thanks.

The idea does sound great but unfortunately so many people would be completely lazy and it would be like Walley. Some people obviously would still have the drive to do something. To build a family. To have hobbies. Even to work… But so many people are so lazy as it is. That it’s unbelievable.

I could work on my music, go for nature walks and look for fossils. I'd have all the time in the world to work on my house and car. I could hang out with friends like we used to when we were younger.

but my job is not exactly my happiness nor the money that comes with it... and besides my job and work, I also have a few occupations that are not for money but things I really like to do, and so... I would still find a whole things to do and occupy myself with and also with others too, that would be even better... lol

Definitely because with that free time I would do good deeds to be productive. I would volunteer my team to help the less fortunate or vulnerable however I could do best to my abilities. I wouldn't want to have nothing to do so what better thing to do if money isn't an option. Help others.
