I guess I always thought my "brilliance"would get me ahead

To be honest the idea of managing people makes me ill. Why would I want to have a meeting and ask people what they are workng at?

I guess it was never meant to be, me and management.

I was always ambitious and I'm well paid, but that management side of things never interested me. Better to know oneself and ones limitations.

In software there is lots of configuration required. That suits me. I just hope I don't appear too useless.
