Would you say there are social benefits to working a job in an open auxiliary productive environment?

I do my job as a writer in my house, and I am used to the isolation now, but when I first began this journey, I felt strange and unsettled to not have a crowd of 200 co-workers in the same environment as me and talking about the same goals as me.

Even though I was never popular, because of jealous people who viewed me as a threat to their position, having that comrade among those that were kind to me, added a level of joy to my life.

But I still have people in my life I regularly talk to and connect with, and I also have social media and music, as well as family. So it could be a lot worse.
